How to Read a Gummy Label Before You Buy

A five-step checklist for understanding serving size, ingredients, sugar and claims on any gummy.

By JelluTide Editorial Team · 2026-10-08 · How we write

Gummies look simple, but labels hide important details. Use this checklist before you buy.

1. Serving size

Check how many gummies make a serving and how many servings are in the bottle. JelluTide bottles hold 30 gummies, so the serving size decides how long a bottle lasts.

2. Active ingredients and amounts

Look for exact amounts. A proprietary blend that lists only a total weight hides what you are actually getting.

3. Sugar and calories

Gummies often contain sugar or sweeteners. If you track calories, count them.

4. Allergens and diet fit

Check for gelatin, gluten, dairy, soy and nuts if they matter to you. When the label is unclear, ask the merchant.

5. Claims and stars

An asterisk usually points to the FDA disclaimer. Claims such as “supports metabolism” are structure-function statements, not proof of a result.

Quick checklist

  • Ask for the full panel if it is missing
  • Look for batch or lot numbers
  • Be careful with “miracle” language
  • Keep the label until you finish the bottle
Note. This article is general information, not medical advice. Talk with a qualified clinician about your own situation. JelluTide is a gummy, not a medication. Read the disclaimer.
